MARIA BARAJAS, LCSW

I am passionate about supporting my clients in reaching their optimal potential and live their chosen lives through self-empowerment, and the self-exploration of their mind-body and Spiritual connection.

My practice stems from the Rogerian Techniques of person-centered practices, the teachings and finding of psychoanalyst, Carl Jung, and trauma informed practices. I have had the privilege of working with a variety of populations including children and families, Latinx, LGBTQ+, Veterans, and the severely mentally ill.

I practice trauma-informed care, and the following are some of the modalities I practice Art Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Relational Therapy, Neuro-emotional Technique, Person-Centered, CBT, DBT, and EMDR.

I believe in Magic. I believe that there is magic to be found everywhere in our world and that it is our jobs as therapists to train our and our clients' eyes, and mind to find it and learn to harness it for our highest and greatest good.
